Supporting: 3500 women – from girls in low socioeconomic families, to women over 60 at risk of living in poverty. Instilling confidence, restoring dignity and building resilience to enable more women to start their future sooner.

WHC has 1,000 properties across 29 Local Government Areas providing housing and support to single women, and women with children at risk of homelessness.

Supporting: 442 multicultural women and residents of Women’s Housing Company aged between 17-65.

Reaching women who are experiencing severe disadvantage, falling through the gaps without support from other sources. After graduating young women are supported to transition into ongoing employment.

Supporting: 12 young women per year, typically aged 18-29 from refugee, asylum seeker or humanitarian migrant backgrounds.

Giving opportunity: For many Alumni of CareerTrackers – they are the first in their family to graduate from university and work in the private sector. Sydney Women’s Fund: Portrait III Research recently found an alarming 44% of women had experienced discrimination in the last 12 months. Almost a third reporting their mental health (32%) and career (31%) suffering, with income (20%), personal relationships (17%) and physical health (11%) also affected.

Supporting: 20 Indigenous women, accelerating their careers, connecting them with a supportive, dedicated mentor and a network of industry leaders and professionals.
